President Trump was received at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in New York City with boos and jeers.
Videos shared on social media showed a handful of cheers but resounding, dominant boos coming from the crowd.

While reporters speculated on how odd it was that the president was even there, one political scientist found it interesting that the president was booed.
“This should be his crowd,” tweeted Ian Bremmer, founder of the Eurasia Group. Other high-profile GOP members were also in attendance, including Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Trump went to that UFC match for a reason. After getting resoundingly booed at the World Series, he needed to go somewhere he'd be cheered.

The Trumps claimed that there were more cheers than boos. Eric Trump tweeted that the crowd was chanting “Donald Trump” and “USA,” but did not provide a video.

This is the second time in a week that a crowd of sports fans greeted the president with boos. At Game 5 of the World Series, when the cameras focused on the president, the crowd began to boo.

UFC President Dana White still stands by Trump. “”I would never say anything negative about Donald Trump because he was there when other people weren’t,” White said in a statement. But the UFC fans seem to disagree.
