Nine anti-Semitic attacks have taken place in New York City in the last few days. Meanwhile, down in Arizona, a gathering of white nationalist Trump supporters called “Trumpstock” is threatening civil war if Trump doesn’t win the 2020 election.
“We have the greatest base in the history of politics,” Trump recently bragged at a Florida rally. He and other Republican figures have embraced the far-right base as their own. Meanwhile, the NYPD is investigating nine anti-Semitic assaults that happened during the Hanukkah season.
“It seems like it’s open season on Jews in New York City,” said City Councilman Chaim Deutsch. Slate wrote that the number of anti-Semitic crimes reported rose by 18% in the last year.
The Trump administration has embraced white nationalism, allowing people like senior advisor Steven Miller to continue to work for them. In New York, a Republican group posted a video warning of a Hasidic Jewish “takeover.”
“There’s no such thing as a white supremacist, just like there’s no such thing as a unicorn. We’re patriots ” a Trump supporter (who had been previously arrested for right-wing terrorism) told the New York Times. The pro-Trump base of supporters in Arizona have received court orders to stop harassing migrants, but are stockpiling weapons in case of a “civil war.”
It's the 7th night of Chanukkah. There have been 10 anti-Semitic attacks this week. Five Jews were stabbed with a machete tonight celebrating the holiday of lights. America, it's time to decide who you want to be.

A woman who attacked three Jewish women in an anti-Semitic assault has been released with no bail.
This is the world of no consequences we live in now- where you can be charged with a hate crime & released hours later.
