Donald Trump would like his base to believe that he is very pro-life, and always has been.
Except he isn’t “pro-life.” He isn’t even “anti-abortion.” At the January 24 annual March for Life, Trump attended in person to please his evangelical base, but as his critics pointed out, this was only because of impeachment.
.@realDonaldTrump at the March for Life: 'Unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House.' While the administration cuts SNAP benefits, and other safety net programs. After birth? They're on their own. https://t.co/t92qUMYgju

“Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God. Together we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life,” Trump opined.
Meanwhile, children spent Christmas in cages. The United States has the highest number of incarcerated children in the world, at 100,000. As Front Page Live reported last month, Trump and his CBP are so anti-life that let children die for lack of a free flu shot!
Immigration authorities would not allow doctors to set up a free flu vaccine clinic at a migrant detention center in San Diego—despite the fact that three children recently died from the flu while in U.S. immigration custody. Four of those doctors were arrested for their efforts!
And yet yesterday, Trump said he wanted “every child born and unborn to fulfill their God-given potential.” He even lied and claimed that the governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, said, “that he would execute a baby after birth.” The New York Times fact-checked Trump’s claim and found that Northam didn’t claim this.
Ilyse Hogue, the president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, called it “an act of desperation, plain and simple.”
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is threatening to take away funds from California for requiring insurance plans to cover abortions. If that happens, 10 million people will lose health insurance, according to California governor Gavin Newsom.
Trump is threatening to take away ALL OF OUR HEALTHCARE FUNDING.
TENS OF BILLIONS of dollars.
10 MILLION PEOPLE who are:
poor
sick
kids
seniors
families
will LOSE their healthcare. And yet you call yourself “pro-life” @realDonaldTrump?? You sicken me. https://t.co/pXdmeZwbSm

In 1999, Trump declared in an interview, “I am pro-choice in every respect.”
I'd happily take the bet that Trump has paid for numerous abortions. He's "anti-abortion" only to suck up to his base.

Finally, Bill Maher has a hilarious takedown of Trump’s hypocritical lies.
