A student has been quarantined just days after Mike Pence visited Sarasota Military Academy and shook hands with a classroom’s worth of students.
The Academy posted about the mother and boy being quarantined on their Facebook page. The student was quarantined after his mother came in contact with a coronavirus-infected patient, according to Herald Tribune.
Neither has shown any symptoms of the coronavirus yet, however, there is concern about Pence having been exposed to it now.
Although Pence didn’t shake hands with the boy directly, he shook hands with his classmates and other academy cadets.
Hopefully, Pence washed his hands after all those handshakes, especially since Trump has him leading the coronavirus task force.
Meanwhile, Twitter thinks Pence might have gotten coronavirus:

Hey, remember when @VP was criticized for flying to Florida for a fundraiser instead of working on the government's COVID-19 response?
Yeah, there's a chance he might have been infected with the virus during that trip. https://t.co/BgslFhOp00
