The ad claims the President willingly slowed down testing for COVID-19 to keep the coronavirus numbers low.

This resulted in the number of deaths skyrocketing. According to MeidasTouch, this makes the President of the United States guilty of murder in the second degree. According to the latest COVID-19 death count, this would be 121,178 crimes of murder, and counting.

Twitter roared with approval

The opening is brutal

It starts with grainy footage of the President at a podium, saying:

โ€œSo I said to my people, slow the testing down please!โ€

Then it cuts to a dictionary definition:

Murder: (n) the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought

It pans in on these words, in stark black and white, and allows the accusation to linger with the viewer. The effect is truly chilling.

Yet, some still found a funny side

The add splices footage of Trump boasting about his lack of testing, and somber images of mass graves and hospital patients on gurneys. Trump calls testing โ€œoverratedโ€ and is cut off by a clip of Dr. Fauci stressing: โ€œWe absolutely need testing.โ€

Letโ€™s call it what it is, suggests the ad, “Murder on a mass scale.” It closes with the hashtag: #TrumpKillsUs, with the word ‘killsโ€™ in a blood red.

The hashtag is exploding on social media.

As the White House attempts to laugh off accusations that the President deliberately slowed down testing after his claim during the Tulsa Rally, the message of this ad is clear: This is no joke, but murder on a mass scale.
