This morning, retired Marine lieutenant colonel and combat pilot Amy McGrath, announced her plans to challenge Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for his seat in 2020.

McGrath made her announcement with a YouTube video.

In her video called The Letter, McGrath takes aim at McConnell.

“It started with this man,” she says, tying the stink coming from Washington to McConnell. He has “bit by bit, year by year, turned Washington into something we all despise,” she adds.
