President Trump’s popularity has suffered after two mass-shootings and the controversy that followed soon after.
A new poll from Fox News yesterday found that Trump’s disapproval rating has jumped to 56%.
That is just one point below his worst rating ever in Fox News polling, which was 57% in October 2017. That was just after Trump defended the Charlottesville neo-Nazi Rally as containing “some very fine people”.
The latest survey found a 5 point jump in Trump’s disapproval - beyond the margin of error of 3 points.
43% of respondents said they approve of Trump’s job performance, down from 46% last month.
The Fox News poll also found 59% of voters unhappy with the way things are going in the country, and a similar number said the president is “tearing the country apart”.
