The President’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, thinks pulling out of Syria is no problem because the majority of Americans have to Google who the Kurds are anyway.
Lara was a guest on Fox News at Night where she was asked by Shannon Beam for her response to a New York Times piece headlined, “Trump Followed His Gut on Syria. Calamity Came Fast.” She replied:
“Well, Shannon, I think we should start with the fact that if you ask the average American out there, I think they would have to Google ‘Who are the Kurds, and why is America even over there fighting this war?’”
The callousness of the Trump’s apparently extends to the in-laws as well.
So this dim bulb's defense for abandoning a valuable ally to be slaughtered is okay, because Trump voters are too stupid to care?

Mediate took Lara Trump’s advice and Googled just as she suggested. The result?
That search returns results like “Abandoned by U.S. in Syria, Kurds Find New Ally in American Foe” and “Actually, President Trump, some Kurds did fight in World War II.”
Twitter was quick to condemn Lara and her smug statement:
By the same logic, most Americans don’t know (or care) which Barbie is the current squeeze of of Don Jr, so she can also be abandoned at a moment’s notice. Truth hurts.

I had to use Google to find out who @laraleatrump is. Using her logic, I guess that means it would be totally fine for her to be stripped of everything she has, and left in an alley to fight with stray dogs for scraps.
