In 1999, during the Clinton era, a senator by the name of Lindsey Graham loudly claimed on cameras that obstructing an impeachment inquiry was itself an impeachable offense.
There’s even video evidence to show that.
Now, Vice President Mike Pence, Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the President himself are refusing to cooperate with the impeachment inquiry.
In fact, they are going as far as blocking other witnesses from giving evidence to Congress.
So on Tuesday evening when a reporter asked Senator Graham if he still considered not complying with a subpoena an impeachable offense - he did not know what to say.
Eventually he uttered, “Nothing’s changed” [in his views] and ran away from reporters.
