There isn’t a rally that goes by in which Trump doesn’t make at least a small mention of his border wall, but at his rally last night in Pittsburgh, he added a whole new segment to his vanity project—a wall along Colorado’s border.
You weren’t “kidding”.
You either forgot or never knew that Colorado isn’t a border state.
If you forgot, you need a psych eval.
If you never knew, you’re too dumb to be president.pic.twitter.com/ubferxYFid#coloradoborderwall #coloradowall #thursdaythoughts— Holly Figueroa O’Reilly (@AynRandPaulRyan) October 24, 2019
Later, the President lamely tweeted that he was only “kidding” about including Colorado (which is not a border state) in his wall talk.
But the video makes clear he wasn’t joking — and so he was completely ridiculed by everyone including right-wing media. The Drudge Report, which just recently started to throw a bit of shade at the President, mocked Trump’s words on its front page (see top image). Strength Strength
(Kiddingly) We’re building a Wall in Colorado”(then stated, “we’re not building a Wall in Kansas but they get the benefit of the Wall we’re building on the Border”) refered to people in the very packed auditorium, from Colorado & Kansas, getting the benefit of the Border Wall!

With #ColoradoBorderWall trending on Twitter, there was plenty of hilarity to go around:
Trump 2020: A wall for every state! #ColoradoBorderWall pic.twitter.com/FuqmHbCPiw

The #ColoradoBorderWall is being built to keep out #NewMexicans. #ThursdayThoughts

Let me guess, New Mexico will pay for it? #ColoradoBorderWall

Even the Governor of Colorado got in on the Trump-trolling fun:
Well this is awkward …Colorado doesn’t border Mexico. Good thing Colorado now offers free full day kindergarten so our kids can learn basic geography pic.twitter.com/bEXLDJYUku
