'This is really, really, really bad news for President Trump'

On Thursday, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) introduced a resolution to condemn the impeachment inquiry, but it did not go according to plan.

He told Fox News:

“I’ve got 46 U.S. senators saying the process is wrong, flawed, lacking due process.”

There is nothing wrong with the process of course - it is the same process Republicans used during the Benghazi inquiries. And it’s a process that they wrote the rules for and then voted for in 2015.

The really interesting bit is this: there are seven Republican Senators missing from that number.

And that’s a big problem for President Trump.

Or as conservative writer — and former George W. Bush speechwriter — David Frum put it:

‘This is really, really, really bad news for President Trump’
