Donald Trump’s Doral resort, a Miami golf property where he tried to host the G7, is “filthy,” “damaged and dirty,” according to a Daily Mail reporter.
The reporter stayed undercover at the hotel for three days, and witnessed the resort’s condition along with the repairs and cleaning required.

The Daily Mail summarized the report this way, “Garbage dump views, the smell of jet fuel, moldy chaises, thin walls and bed bugs.”
Most of Trump’s supporters could not afford the $350 a night price. Guests could spend up to $106 on a porterhouse steak, while watching the unique views. The Doral resort offers glimpses of not one, but two county dumps. It is also very close to an airport.
In addition, everything is in disrepair. Guests could see the broken elevators and the stained carpets. The ceiling in the lobby has black mold spots growing near the vents. One guest sued the resort after bed bugs attacked him in 2016. Trump has referred to this property as “one of the most exceptional in the world.”
The reporter had no problem with the Doral resort’s service. He called it “impeccable,” but noted the irony in that it mostly consisted of immigrants, who wore name tags identifying their country of origin.
Trump’s acting Chief of Staff, Mick Mulvaney, slammed Camp David, the site where the G8 was held in 2012, as “miserable.” He also said it made “perfect sense” for the G7 to be held at the Doral resort.
