At his Tuesday night rally in Sunrise, Florida, Trump spouted one of his newest conspiracy theories: the radical left wants to rename Thanksgiving.
“You know, some people want to change the name Thanksgiving,” Trump said, “They don’t want to use the term Thanksgiving.”
The crowd starts booing loudly at Trump’s claim, He continues, “And that was true also with Christmas, but now everybody’s using Christmas again.” Wild cheering all around.

The President’s favorite network, FOX News, ran with the conspiracy putting out this headline: “Trump vows not to change the name of Thanksgiving despite cries from the ‘radical left.’ Although, they didn’t cite any instances where the “radical left” had actually talked about changing the name of the holiday.
Perhaps Trump heard someone was having a Friendsgiving and thought the “libs” were starting a war on Thanksgiving?
