Trump thinks that having to deal with coronavirus should mean his opponents shouldn’t be allowed to win.

During a press briefing on Monday, Trump said that Democrats “shouldn’t be allowed to win” the election, saying the virus “artificially stopped” the Trump administration.

Trump also blamed Obama saying that his administration didn’t do much during the swine flu pandemic in 2009, even though the Obama administration responded much faster than Trump did during COVID-19.

As the coronavirus crisis continues to possibly take more of a toll on this year’s election, Trump definitely seems to realize that his response will have a massive effect on his ratings but doesn’t seem to understand he can’t make new rules based on the natural occurrence.

Trump’s election this year might be based primarily on his coronavirus response, and everyone can only prepare for more nonsensical statements.
