As the days go by, more American’s are disapproving the way President Donald Trump has been handling the COVID-19 outbreak. Truth be told, that’s no surprise.

What’s surprising is that 2016 Trump voters are starting to turn on him.

Navigator recently conducted a survey that showed increasing evidence that people who voted for Trump in 2016 are less sure about him:

In polling data from March 31-April 3, Navigator reported that 40 percent of respondents who voted for Trump in 2016 said the president didn’t take COVID-19 seriously enough, up 23 percent from the week prior. Even 66 percent of Independents agreed, up 10 percent.

You know it’s bad when over half of Trump 2016 voters say he didn’t get it right.

The most recent data is showing is still showing how tense bipartisan relationships are. The online survey, conducted April 3-8, showed that 85 percent of Republicans and 13 percent of Democrats either somewhat or strongly approved Trump’s handling of COVID-19. While, not surprisingly, 13 percent of Republicans and 75 percent of Democrats disapproved.
