‘Pretty woke right-wing feminism’: Twitter rips Kellyanne Conway calling Biden a frat boy for wanting female VP

Kellyanne Conway, President Trump’s senior White House adviser, likened Joe Biden’s search for a potential running mate for the 2020 presidential election to that of a “coed at the end of a frat party” on Fox News on Wednesday.

Conway, who in 2016 became the first woman to manage a successful presidential campaign, criticized Biden for only considering women for his potential vice president. She said:

“You’ve seen the long shortlist of Joe Biden’s VP choices. They all happen to be female. He sounds like a coed at the end of a frat party: ‘I need a woman!'”

Why would Kellyanne accuse Biden of being a frat boy?

A little background…

During a Democratic debate earlier this year, former Vice President Joe Biden pledged to pick a woman as his running mate.

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, former gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer are all considered to be amongst his potential picks for VP.

Twitter: ‘This is a bit too far’

Her statement made #kellyanneconway a Twitter trend on Wednesday, and Twitterati couldn’t help but notice that she’d crossed a line. Some even thought that she went more than a bit too far.

Others just assumed her suggestion was a brand of feminism.

Some made it clear that appointing a qualified woman to a respected post wasn’t the same as whatever Conway was alluding to.

Trump’s background isn’t forgotten

Several Twitter users pointed out that her boss, aka Donald Trump, has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women.

Not to forget Trump’s take on women: “Grab ’em by the p*ssy. You can do anything.”

Some of them even dug out videos from the archive showing Trump partying with several women. Incidentally, the party was hosted by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Kellyanne’s Biden is a frat boy brought out the jokes

In 2017, Conway called White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s lies about Donald Trump’s inauguration attendee numbers, “alternative facts.” Some Twitter users even suggested that she was keeping at least 6 feet apart from the truth.

Others joked that Kellyanne must have mistaken Biden for another frat boy — Brett Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh is said to have been a part of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Yale University and was accused of sexual assault before he was nominated to the Supreme Court by Trump.
