The Lincoln Project has a new ad showing evidence that Trump is not well.

The video asks why Trump had a “secretive midnight run to Walter Reed medical center,” and calls for a discussion of the president’s health. The hashtag #trumpisnotwell is trending on Twitter: people seem ready to talk about it.

There is plenty of evidence

The Lincoln Project did not have to dig deep for examples to show Trump is not well. Twitter users supply material that did not make the cut.

If your grandfather did this, you would ask him, “Is everything okay?” And maybe that’s just what the Lincoln Project wants, an honest answer to that question.

But the only conversation the president seems to be having is with himself.

He does seem to be taking it easy

Even after the Lincoln Project dropped their new ad, the president has been strangely quiet today.

Trump opened the door to this

During his campaign, Trump was happy to call Hillary Clinton physically unfit. Now that the president’s decline has been in full view for over three years, it seems more than fair to wonder aloud if Trump is healthy enough to do the job.

Now that we can all see that Trump is not well, it’s fair to wonder if he has been directing attention from himself all along.

Could this all be an act?

It seems unlikely, but since Republicans will defend the president no matter what, maybe it’s not that Trump is not well. Maybe this is all just an act so that when he is out of office, it will be harder to put him in jail.

He has already moved to Florida — is that because of the investigations on him in New York? Maybe the Lincoln Project will take a look at that.

The president has always been ready to criticize others, including how they walk (and to throw in a dash of thinly veiled racism).

But when the rubber met the road, so to speak, Trump had a hard time getting traction. He did have a difficult time walking at the West Point graduation ceremony.

‘Weak and unfit’

The Lincoln Project’s new ad targets Trump’s signs of failing health for a reason. The U.S. is in danger if “the most powerful office in the world” is held by a man who is unfit for the job.

Compared to Obama?

Trump likes to make comparisons between himself and stuff he makes up about Barack Obama. But a picture is worth a thousand lies.

Now the Lincoln Project has Twitter wondering; is the obsession with Obama pathological?

Is it fair to talk about the president this way?

The Lincoln Project’s new ad is not kind to the president, but it also includes footage of Trump making fun of a reporter with a disability. Trump is not well, but remember that he never let other people’s conditions stop him from ridiculing them.

Nothing to see here

Trump is not well, but no one close to the president seems willing to take on the Lincoln Project’s question.

Whatever is wrong with the president, that won’t be the only sickness at his Tulsa rally. The day after Juneteenth, Trump will be holding a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a city with one of the worst COVID-19 outbreaks in the U.S.
