As America (and the rest of the world) comes to grips with the first of three presidential debates, videos summing up the night are going viral.
From one that ripped into President Trump for not condemning white supremacists to those that savagely attacked 45’s hurt ego because Biden used the word “smart”, here are 7 clips that deliver pure entertainment.

On night one of the 2020 presidential debates, Biden had had enough of Donald Trump’s interruptions. The former vice president went on to shut down Trump with everything from “Will you shut up, man?” to “Quit yapping.”
He didn’t stop there. His campaign posted a video, that now has over 3 million views.

In a section about race relations, the debate’s moderator Chris Wallace asked President Trump to denounce the white supremacists and militia groups agitating violence in nationwide protests.
Instead, Trump asked Proud Boys, a far-right neo-fascist organization, to “stand back and stand by.”
The White House Communications director said that there was nothing to clarify.

The Lincoln Project’s Steve Schmidt told MSNBC:
Donald Trump gave a lock and load order to heavily armed, paramilitary, white supremacist, militia organizations. The white supremacist organizations are reveling in the support of the president today. They’re celebrating.

Wallace tried desperately to rein in the candidates and to stop Trump from flouting debate rules. He failed. In fact, Trump drowned him out.
That spawned another viral ad. This one is by The Lincoln Project, an American political action committee formed by several current and former Republicans.

As Biden spoke directly to the camera (and America), Trump threw the side-eye around quite a bit. Even a body language expert noted that Trump appeared to be on drugs.

As Biden condemned his opponent for allegedly calling U.S. army veterans “suckers” and “losers”, Donald Trump got personal: He claimed Biden’s son Hunter was dishonorably discharged for cocaine use.
Biden answered like the best parent there ever was. He not only admitted that his son struggled with a drug problem but also said that he was proud of him for overcoming it — something that the internet decided Donald Trump Jr was still struggling with.

At one point during the debate, Biden said that Trump had to get a lot smarter about handling coronavirus. Trump spat back: “There’s nothing smart about you.”
In the volley of insults that followed, the president did take offense to the word “smart” being thrown around.

The debate was excellent fodder for the late night hosts. Hilarity ensued.
The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah suggested Trump and Biden might as well just wrestle next time. “The winner gets a free hip replacement,” he quipped.
Stephen Colbert savagely tore apart the first Trump-Biden presidential debate aka what he calls “the battle of the boomers” in a live monologue.
Jimmy Kimmel got over a million views for his take on the “worst debate ever.” He called out Trump on stirring up “nonsense” before the debate by releasing Rudy Giuliani to attack Biden’s mental faculties and claiming that Biden is abusing Adderall.
