‘I’m in awe of this’: 3 former presidents stun Twitter users with a peaceful transition of power

Former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton put their solo careers on hold and formed a supergroup — the Traveling Wilburys of Politics — to make a video to promote unity and defeat divisiveness.

The only missing former commander in chief in the video was 96-year-old Jimmy Carter, who was unable to attend.

After four years of angry, misleading, and destructive tweets, Twitter was over the moon at humanity’s prospects and a more tolerant America.

Though just two weeks ago, the nation was in chaos, none of the former presidents mentioned the newest of ex-presidents responsible for the carnage.

“We are both trying to come back to normalcy, deal with totally abnormal challenges, and do what we do best, which is try to make a more perfect union,” Bill Clinton said.
