Proud Boys to be listed as a terrorist organization. Their response is despicable.

The Canadian House of Commons passed legislation that the far-right group the Proud Boys be classified as a terrorist organization.

Although it passed unanimously, it still has a few more hurdles before it’s deemed law. But our northern neighbors appear to be headed in that direction. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is being pressured to back the measure, and indications are that he will.

America remains part of the problem

A large section of America still embraces the Proud Boys. In the first presidential debate, Donald Trump refused to denounce the white-supremacist group and said, “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.” Which they kind of did. Until Jan. 6, when they helped insurrectionists attempt to overthrow the government.

In fact, despite their denials, the Proud Boys were key players in the Capitol Coup, according to The Wall Street Journal.

‘Canadian Hezbollah’

The Proud Boys, started by Canadian Gavin McInnes, have been linked to the vandalization of Black churches in Washington, D.C. and violence at Black Lives Matter marches in Portland.

“I love being white and I think it’s something to be very proud of. I don’t want our culture diluted,” said McInnes.

Seems like they’re still a little too Proud. “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter,” they said, according to Parlertakes.

Proud Boys are already in our government!

The Sacramento County’s Republican Party Central Committee is calling for one of its members to resign after he admitted to being part of the Proud Boys group.

Jeffrey Perrine is being urged to step down.

“I’ve been a member, but I’m not a head or an officer of any kind in any organization. Yeah, I’m still with the Proud Boys. I’m just a member. I’m a part of a fraternity,” Perrine said.

A fraternity of misogyny and hate.
