Sunday 1st September was the 80th anniversary since Adolf Hitler’s tanks rolled into Poland, thereby triggering the Second World War. Remembrance services were held across Germany, Poland and the world.
But President Trump seems to be unaware what actually happened at the time.
Yesterday, when asked whether he had anything to say on the 80th anniversary of World War 2, he said:
I do have a great message for Poland & we have Mike Pence, our vice president, is just about landing right now…I just want to congratulate Poland.
Congratulate Poland? For what? Being invaded?
