A Trump confidant admitted to CNN’s Jim Acosta that Tuesday’s election results are “totally bad” for Trump—no matter how the GOP tries to spin it.
On last night’s results, source who regularly talks to Trump: “Totally bad. Kentucky and Virginia signal to GOP they are underestimating voter intensity against Trump, and it could be terrible for them next year,” the source said. “Bad omen for impeachment,” the source added.

Trump has already attempted to paint the humiliating defeat in Kentucky as a win for, of all people, Mitch McConnell. Yet, according to Acosta, CNN’s White House correspondent, there are some close to Trump that see the loss in an entirely different light.
