Contrary to Rudy Giuliani’s conspiracy theories, the former prosecutor general of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has already exonerated both former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
In fact, he said, saying there’s no evidence of “any wrongdoing.”
In light of Trump’s formal impeachment over his effort to extort the Ukrainians into investigating Biden again—and in the light of Giuliani’s continuing efforts to smear the Biden—it’s worth remembering that the prosecutor told Bloomberg months ago:
“Hunter Biden did not violate any Ukrainian laws—at least as of now, we do not see any wrongdoing. A company can pay however much it wants to its board.”
The prosecutor general also said that Hunter Biden was not under investigation, and neither is the company Burisma where he was a board member.
Lusenko did not want Ukraine to be a “subject of U.S. presidential elections.” He went on to say that he would be giving the details of Hunter Biden’s board payments from Burisma to the American authorities to check whether taxes were paid correctly. However, Biden does not have any tax problems in Ukraine.
This exoneration of the Bidens contradicts the conspiracy theories that Giuliani has been peddling for months.

Not that Giuliani or Trump have ever let the facts get in the way of a smear job.
