Trump took the stage after Prime Minister Modi. Speaking to a crowd of 100,000 people, Trump told them that India “will always hold a very special place in our hearts,” and according to the New York Times, said, “Trump loves India.”
However, his appraisal of the country couldn’t stop BBC News India from noticing—and counting—how many times he mispronounced Indian words.
