A website billing itself as “the first testing center locator for COVID-19” has close ties to Trump’s senior official and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The website, called Oscar, was co-founded in 2013 by Kushner and his brother, Joshua.

Jared allegedly divested from the company when taking a position at the White House. As of December 2018, his brother held a controlling percentage in Oscar.

Oscar launched their testing center tracker on the same day that Trump falsely claimed that Google was working on a site to centralize coronavirus testing resources.

Oscar denies having any official connection to the White House.

However, many on Twitter were quick to wonder if the president and his advisors knew that a Kushner-owned company stood to profit off of the coronavirus crisis.

Kushner has become a key figure in the Trump administration’s lackluster coronavirus response. According to the New York Times,

Mr. Kushner’s early involvement with dealing with the virus was in advising the president that the media’s coverage exaggerated the threat.

Coincidence?

Is it a total coincidence that a company run by the brother of Trump’s son-in-law just happened to create a website eerily similar to one that the president promoted at a press conference?

Or is this just another day of nepotism under 45?

We can’t say for sure. But as Oscar rushes to fill a niche opened by Trump’s mishandling of the coronavirus, it’s clear that they will be using this disaster to their advantage.

Besides, it isn’t hard to believe that Jared and his brother are grifting off of father-in-law Trump’s presidency. Trump’s children have been capitalizing on these last three years.

When Donald Trump Jr.’s book titled Triggered debuted at number one on the NYT’s best-seller list, it was because the RNC manipulated the rankings with its bulk orders.

Why would the RNC place huge orders of Jr.’s book? Because his daddy is president, of course!

The retroactive hunting license

When he isn’t buying his way onto a best seller’s list, Jr. likes to go trophy-hunting and kill endangered animals.

In 2019, he went rare sheep hunting in Mongolia, but instead of landing in hot water when he shot the endangered Argali, he was given a retroactive hunting license.

New deals?

Eric Trump also gets in on the grifting. In 2017, he took a trip to the Dominican Republic where he just happened to revive a 10-year old deal.
