The President has made history for the wrong reason yet again.
Trump announced he signed a Disaster Declaration across every single state in the nation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 22,000 Americans causing nation-wide states of emergency.
Or in the President’s own words: “We are winning.”
Twitter disagreed with his sentiments.

Many questioned how the declaration of a disaster across every single state could be considered a victory:

Some users pointed out that the definition of “winning” and success would be better applied had the President managed to mitigate the virus and saved at least a single state from declaring a disaster.
Many hold Trump responsible for the lives lost over the catastrophic mismanagement of the virus.

This will be the first time in history that the United States has declared a disaster in every single state simultaneously.
One wonders whether Trump should be bragging about this type of “making history.”
